Become a Member
The Council has both organisational and individual members.
The organisational
members are involved in many areas of refugee support including:

assisting refugees in countries of first asylum and when they
repatriate to their homelands |
| • |
providing settlement support to refugees in Australia |
| • |
providing protection and legal advice to refugees and asylum
seekers |
| • |
advocating on behalf of a particular refugee community |
Individual members are Australians who want to be informed
about the issues and support the work of the Council.
Members of the Refugee Council:
| • |
receive regular briefings and updates about evolving refugee
issues, including monthly email bulletins and a regular newsletter; |
| • |
are entitled to vote in elections and for thematic resolutions;
|
| • |
play an important role informing RCOA about refugee issues. |

The annual fee for individual membership is $55.00 (inc GST)
and $27.50 (inc GST) for the non-waged.
The annual fee for organisational membership varies according
to the organisation's annual expenditure. The rates (inc GST) are:
Expenditure of less than $100,000 p.a. - $55.00
Expenditure of $100,000 to $500,000 p.a. - $110.00
Expenditure of $500,000 to $1 million p.a. - $165.00
Expenditure of $1 million to $5 million p.a. - $275.00
Expenditure of over $5 million p.a. - $440.00
Please return the completed form to the RCOA Secretariat (Suite 4A6, 410 Elizabeth
Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010) with your fees. Completed forms with credit card
details can be faxed to 02 9211 9288. Your membership will be confirmed after
the form and fees have been received.
